Michael J. Goldberger
Michael is a Co-Founder and Partner at MIDIOR Consulting where he oversees project delivery, ensuring all work meets our standards for smart design, innovation, relevance and quality. With 25+ years of experience as a management consultant, entrepreneur, senior executive and engineer, Michael is called upon whenever companies have extremely complex product problems or technical challenges. Often referred to as “the smartest person in the room,” Michael is a leading figure in the development and commercialization of emerging technologies and IT platforms, helping clients improve accuracy and relevance in their product development process and IT programs. His unique ability to match new concepts and breakthrough technologies with real-world products and services has resulted in multiple patent applications and commercially successful products. He combines his talent for sparking innovation with hands-on technology and development experience to ensure that each of his clients experiences a dramatic improvement in their “return on investments in technology.”
Michael is both a leader and student of innovation and technology best practices. He is the consummate early adopter and his passion for the “new” combined with his experience as a practitioner and consultant, give Michael a valuable perspective from which to advise MIDIOR’s clients. Michael’s non-profit passions focus on MITs K-12 initiative and the MIT Club of Boston, where he is an officer and Past President. Michael also supports the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), where he has served as Treasurer and Director on the board of the New England chapter. Michael’s passion for music and all things new and cool make him the go-to resource for anyone who wants to be on the edge and in the know.
Michael holds a BSEE degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and when not untangling problems for MIDIOR’s clients, you can find him skiing the most challenging terrain he can find, from Colorado to Argentina.
